We Dance for Change ("WDFC")

We Dance For Change inspires social change by educating the public about social issues through dance. We do this by creating dance productions that convey impactful information on social issues while evoking emotion that makes our message memorable. At the same time, we are making the art of ballet more relatable in an effort to grow interest in our dance form globally.​

We Dance For Change enables young, pre-professional dancers to have their voices heard. Issues such as climate change, gun violence, and discrimination are impacting young lives more than ever. As much as young dancers care about these issues, they lack a strong artistic outlet to inspire change. WDFC provides them with this outlet and empowers them to inspire change through a medium that they are passionate about. We do this by creating dance productions that raise awareness on social topics. WDFC provides young, aspiring, pre-professional dancers with a well-rounded experience, enabling them to explore the ethical, emotional, and logical aspects of each social issue.
